Submission Instructions

Seminars in Perinatology is an invitation-only journal. Submissions are accepted by invitation from the editorial board only. The following article types are accepted:

Reviews

Cover Letter A cover letter is required with the submission. The cover letter should briefly state the study’s aim and main findings, explain fit with the journal’s scope, and emphasize novelty and broader implications.
Abstract An abstract is required. Abstract must not exceed 250 words. Abstract should be unstructured and able to stand alone.
Manuscript Manuscript should be divided into clearly defined and numbered sections. The submission must include 1 to 7 English keywords, and if generative AI tools were used in manuscript preparation an AI declaration must appear in a new section before the references list.
References References must be cited in the text using numbers in square brackets. References must be numbered in order of appearance and include applicable bibliographic details, with journal names abbreviated according to LTWA.
Figures & Tables Figures must be uploaded as separate files, while tables must be submitted as editable text. Tables must be cited in the text, numbered consecutively, and include captions, and all artwork must be cited in the text, numbered in order, and accompanied by captions.
