Original Articles

Cover Letter A cover letter is required. Cover letter must state that all authors contributed significantly and agree with the manuscript content and its submission to the journal.
Abstract An abstract is required. Abstract must not exceed 200 words. Abstract must be structured. Abstract must use the headings Aims, Methods, Results, and Conclusion.
Manuscript Manuscript must not exceed 4000 words including the abstract but excluding references, tables, and figures. Main text must be organized as Introduction, Methods, Results, Conclusion, Acknowledgment, Disclosure, and References. Manuscript must include four to eight key words and a disclosure statement under the heading 'Disclosure' after 'Acknowledgement' and before 'References'.
References References may include up to 60 entries. References must follow Vancouver style. References must be numbered consecutively in order of appearance, cited with Arabic superscript numerals, and list the first 3 authors followed by et al when there are more than 6 authors.
Figures & Tables A maximum of 6 figures and tables combined is allowed. Figures must be supplied as separate files, and tables must appear on separate pages with figure legends provided as a complete list in the text. Figures and tables must be numbered consecutively in Arabic numerals and accompanied by concise, comprehensive legends.

References Reviews may include up to 150 references. References must follow Vancouver style. References must be numbered consecutively in order of appearance with Arabic superscript in-text citations, and if a reference has more than six authors only the first three should be listed followed by 'et al.'
Figures & Tables Reviews must include at least 1 and no more than 3 figures and tables. Figures must be supplied as separate files, while tables and figure legends must be included in the manuscript. Figures and tables must be numbered consecutively in Arabic numerals and each must have a legend.
