Cortex

Cortex is an international journal devoted to the study of cognition and the relationship between the nervous system and mental processes, particularly as reflected in the behaviour of patients with acquired brain lesions, normal volunteers, children with typical and atypical development, and brain activation recorded by functional neuroimaging techniques. It was founded in 1964 by Ennio De Renzi.

Abstract An abstract not exceeding 250 words is required. Abstract must not exceed 250 words. Abstract should be unstructured as a concise and factual standalone summary.
Manuscript Review articles have no word limit. Manuscript must be divided into clearly defined and numbered sections. The manuscript must include 1 to 7 English keywords and a declaration of generative AI use in a new section placed before the references when applicable.
References Review articles have no reference limit. In-text citations should follow APA style. Reference list should be arranged alphabetically and then chronologically, with same-author same-year entries distinguished by letters.
