Neoplasia is an open access oncology journal that publishes novel investigations across all areas of cancer research, including molecular and genetic findings related to the neoplastic phenotype as well as laboratory and clinical studies on risk assessment, prognostic indications, detection, diagnosis, and treatment. The journal publishes Research Reports, Reviews, and Meeting Reports and emphasizes thorough, fair, and rapid review and publication.

Original Research Article

Cover Letter Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract A structured abstract is required. Abstract must not exceed 250 words. Abstract must be structured.
Manuscript Manuscript must not exceed 4,500 words. Manuscript must be divided into Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, and Discussion sections. Manuscript must include 1 to 6 English keywords, and if generative AI was used in manuscript preparation, a declaration section must be placed immediately before the references.
References Reference list must contain no more than 50 references. References may be formatted in any consistent style or format at submission. References must include author names, source title information, year, and volume with article number or pagination where applicable, and every in-text citation must appear in the reference list and vice versa.
Figures & Tables The total number of figures and/or tables must not exceed 6. Figures must be uploaded as separate files, whereas tables must be provided as editable text. All figures and tables must be cited in the text, numbered consecutively in order of appearance, and accompanied by captions.

Abstract A short abstract is required for Review Articles. Abstract must not exceed 250 words. Abstract must state the goal of the review.
Manuscript Manuscript must not exceed 4,500 words. Manuscript must include an introduction, discussion, and conclusion, and be divided into clearly defined sections with headings. Manuscript must include 1 to 6 English keywords and, if AI tools were used in manuscript preparation, a declaration section immediately before the references specifying the tool used and the reason for using it.
References Reference list must contain no more than 80 references. References may be submitted in any consistent style or format. References cited in the text must appear in the reference list and vice versa, and each reference must include author names, title, year, and journal or book details with volume and pagination or article number where applicable.
