MedScience, formerly Frontiers of Medicine, is a globally focused journal publishing original research across a diverse range of medical topics. It is indexed in PubMed/MEDLINE and SCIE and promotes global communication among medical professionals on disease control, treatment, health policy, medical services, and health care reform. The journal is supervised by the Ministry of Education of China and administered by Higher Education Press, the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and Ruijin Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine.

Review

Cover Letter A cover letter is required. The cover letter must state that the manuscript has not been and will not be considered for publication elsewhere, briefly introduce the novel findings, include the first author's email address and telephone number if the corresponding author is difficult to contact, and provide a declaration signed by the corresponding author that all authors agreed to submit the manuscript.
Abstract An abstract is required. The abstract must be a single paragraph of about 200 words. The abstract must be unstructured as a single paragraph.
Manuscript The main text must not exceed 8000 words, excluding references. The manuscript should include an introduction giving the rationale for the review, followed by sections with appropriate subheadings and a conclusion or perspective section at the end. The title page must include 3 to 7 keywords, and the manuscript must include the statement: "This manuscript is a review article and does not involve a research protocol requiring approval by the relevant institutional review board or ethics committee."
References Review articles are especially encouraged to include 300 references or more. References must be numbered in sequential order of appearance in the text, use PubMed journal title abbreviations, and list all authors.
Figures & Tables Review articles are especially encouraged to include at least 6 figures and tables. Tables and figures must be embedded within the text, and figures must also be submitted separately. Tables must be labeled sequentially and figures must be labeled sequentially, cited in the text, and accompanied by figure legends.

Research Article

Research Article should use headings such as Introduction, Materials and methods, Results, Discussion, Acknowledgments, Compliance with ethics guidelines, and References. Manuscript must include 3 to 7 keywords on the title page.
References References must be numbered in sequential order of appearance in the text, use PubMed journal abbreviations, and list all authors.
Figures & Tables Research Article may contain up to 6 figures and tables. Tables and figures must be embedded within the text, and figures must also be submitted separately. Tables must be labeled sequentially and figures must be labeled sequentially, numbered, cited in the text, and accompanied by figure legends.
