Neuromodulation: Technology at the Neural Interface publishes clinical, translational, and basic science research on the technology, science, and clinical application of devices that interface with the nervous system to treat disease, alleviate symptoms, and improve function. It is the official journal of the International Neuromodulation Society and covers areas including pain, headache, movement disorders, spasticity, paralysis, psychiatric and cognitive disorders, epilepsy, sensory deprivation, cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, and genitourinary disorders, among others.

Abstract A structured abstract is required for full-length articles, which includes In-Depth Reviews. Abstract must be 300 words or less. Abstract must be structured in four paragraphs. Abstract headings must be Objectives, Materials and Methods, Results, and Conclusions.
Manuscript Manuscript should be approximately 1,000 to 4,000 words. Pages must be ordered as Title Page and Structured Abstract followed by Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, and Conclusion. Five keywords or short phrases must appear beneath the abstract, and a Declaration of AI and AI-assisted technologies in the writing process must be included at the end of the manuscript if applicable.
References References must conform to AMA Manual of Style, 11th edition. References must be numbered sequentially in the order cited in the text, with each reference cited in the text and references with 7 or more authors listing the first 6 followed by "et al.".
Figures & Tables Tables may be embedded within the manuscript or uploaded as separate files for review, while figures must be uploaded as separate files for review. Figures and tables must be numbered consecutively in the order cited, each figure must have a separate legend and title, and each table must include a title.
