Frequently asked questions

How long does it take to publish?

After submission, the editor conducts an initial assessment to determine suitability for external peer review; if sent for peer review, an initial decision is communicated to the corresponding author, and additional rounds of peer review and revision may occur until the manuscript is accepted, after which page proofs are generated and authors are asked to complete proofreading within 48 hours to avoid delays in posting the paper online.
