Abstract An unstructured, self-contained, citation-free abstract is required, with a maximum length of 300 words; clinical trials must include the trial registration number at the end of the abstract.
Manuscript Follow the journal’s standard structure: title and authorship information, abstract, introduction, materials and methods or main text, results and discussion, conclusions, data availability, conflicts of interest, funding statement, acknowledgments, references; no overall word limit is specified.
References References may use any style but must be complete and accurate, numbered consecutively in order of first citation, and cited in the text using numbers in square brackets; no maximum reference count is indicated.
Figures & Tables At submission, include all figures and tables within the manuscript file; upon acceptance, supply each figure as a separate high-resolution (bitmap ≥300 dpi unless scientifically justified otherwise) vector or bitmap file, with tables cited consecutively, titled descriptively, using SI units and no vertical rules.
