Critical Reviews In Clinical Laboratory Sciences is an invitation-only journal. Submissions are accepted by invitation from the editorial board only. The following article types are accepted:

Review Article

Cover Letter Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract An unstructured abstract is required. Abstract should be 500 words. Abstract must be unstructured.
Manuscript Manuscript should be between 5000 and 10000 words. Manuscript should be organized in the order title page, abstract, keywords, main text, acknowledgments, declaration of interest statement, references, appendices as appropriate, tables with captions, figures, and figure captions. Manuscript must include 3 to 5 keywords, a word count, an alphabetical list of abbreviations in the main text, a disclosure statement under the subheading “Disclosure of interest,” and an acknowledgement of any AI use.
References References must use the T&F standard NLM reference style. References should be relevant and provide a fair and balanced overview of the current state of research or scholarly work on the topic, and any reference without inclusive page numbers must include a DOI.
Figures & Tables Tables with captions and figures must be supplied as separate documents. Tables must be interpretable without reference to the text, present new information rather than duplicate the text, and be supplied as editable files.
