Target Articles

Cover Letter Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract An abstract is required for Target Articles. Abstract must not exceed 150 words.
Manuscript Target Articles may not exceed 7500 words excluding references. Manuscript should include a title page, abstract, keywords, main text, disclosure of interest statement, references, and any tables and figures, and the main document must remove identifying author information and acknowledgements. Target Articles must include six keywords and a disclosure of interest statement, and any use of AI must be acknowledged in the paper.
References Extract citations must include page numbers.
Figures & Tables Figures must be saved separately from the text. Graphics must be converted to TIFF or EPS format, with line art at a minimum of 600 dpi and halftones at a minimum of 266 dpi.

Open Peer Commentaries

Manuscript Open Peer Commentaries should be between 500 and 1500 words. Open Peer Commentaries must include an indexable title, the authors’ names, full institutional addresses, and electronic mail addresses. The manuscript must include a word count and 3 to 5 keywords, and it must contain a disclosure of interest statement and an acknowledgment of any AI use.
References Open Peer Commentaries must contain no more than ten citations. Open Peer Commentaries should follow the latest edition of The Chicago Manual of Style. All extract citations must include page numbers.
Figures & Tables Figures must be saved separately from the text. Tables and figures should be numbered consecutively, every table should have a title, every figure should have a caption, and the text must indicate the appropriate locations for tables and figures.
