Review Articles
Cover Letter
A signed copyright letter must be submitted with the manuscript.
Abstract
A structured abstract is required for Review Articles. Abstract must not exceed 250 words. Abstract must be structured.
Manuscript
Review Articles must be 6000-10000 words, excluding figures, structures, photographs, schemes, and tables. Review Articles must be divided into a title page, abstract, and main text, followed by List of Abbreviations, Conflict of Interest, Acknowledgements, and References. Review Articles must include a Graphical Abstract, Keywords, Conclusion, List of Abbreviations, Consent for Publication, Availability of Data and Materials, Funding, Conflict of Interest, Acknowledgements, References, Appendices, Figures/Illustrations, Chemical Structures, Tables, and Supportive/Supplementary Material.
References
Review Articles must contain 100 or more references. References should preferably be in ACS or Vancouver style. Reference numbers must be given in square brackets in the text.
Figures & Tables
There is no restriction on the number of figures, tables, or additional files that can be included with each article online. Figures and tables must be embedded in the text, although figures and illustrations must also be provided as separate electronic files for online submission. Figures must be numbered consecutively in the order of appearance, and tables must be numbered in Arabic numerals sequentially in order of citation.
Mini-Reviews
Cover Letter
A signed copyright letter must be submitted with the manuscript by the corresponding author on behalf of all co-authors. The corresponding author must confirm approval from all listed authors for the submission and publication of all versions of the manuscript, and all co-authors must sign a declaration accepting full responsibility for the manuscript content.
Abstract
An abstract is required. Abstract must not exceed 250 words. The abstract should be structured. The abstract should include the study purpose, participant details, measurements, methods, main findings, and conclusion.
Manuscript
Mini-Reviews must be 3000-6000 words, excluding figures, structures, photographs, schemes, and tables. The main text must begin on a separate page with numbered section headings and numbered italicized sub-section headings. The manuscript must include 6 to 8 keywords, a conflict of interest statement, an Authors' Contribution paragraph, a CRediT author statement, and disclosure of any significant AI tool use.
References
Mini-Reviews must contain 75 or more references. References must be submitted preferably in ACS or Vancouver style. References must be complete and fully formatted before submission, cited in the text with numbers in square brackets, and must not include abstracts, unpublished data, or personal communications.

Figures and tables must be embedded in the text at their appropriate placement, while figure files must also be provided separately for online submission. Systematic Reviews
Cover Letter
A signed copyright letter must be submitted with the manuscript by the corresponding author on behalf of all co-authors. The corresponding author must have approval from all listed authors for the submission and publication of all versions of the manuscript.
Abstract
A structured abstract is required for Systematic Reviews. Abstract must not exceed 250 words. The abstract must be structured. The structured abstract must include Introduction/Objective, Methods, Results, Discussion, and Conclusion.
Manuscript
Systematic Reviews must be 4000-6000 words, excluding figures, structures, photographs, schemes, and tables. Systematic Reviews are required to address the methods used for selecting, locating, extracting, and synthesizing data. Registered systematic reviews must include the registration number as the last line of the abstract, and the manuscript must include an Authors' Contribution paragraph, a CRediT author statement, conflict of interest and funding declarations, and disclosure of any significant AI tool use.
References

Manuscript
Manuscript must be 4000-6000 words excluding figures, structures, photographs, schemes, and tables. Manuscript must clearly state the objective or hypothesis, design and methods, essential features of interventions, main outcome measures, main results, a comment section addressing the published literature and study limitations, and the conclusions, and it must include a “Randomization and Masking” section within the Methods section. Manuscript must include 6 to 8 keywords and disclose any significant use of AI tools, including naming the tool used for image or graphical production or for data collection and analysis in the Materials and Methods or similar section.
