Review Articles

Cover Letter A signed copyright letter must be submitted by the corresponding author on behalf of all co-authors. The copyright letter must include signatures from all contributing authors, and the corresponding author must have approval of all listed authors for submission and publication.
Abstract A structured abstract is required for Review Articles. Abstract must not exceed 250 words. Abstract must be structured with explicit bold subheadings.
Manuscript Review Articles must be 6000–10000 words. Manuscript must be divided into title page, abstract, and main text, and include sections such as Title, Title Page, Structured Abstract, Graphical Abstract, Keywords, Text Organization, Conclusion, References, and other listed end matter as applicable. Manuscript must include a graphical abstract, 6 to 8 keywords, a list of abbreviations if any, funding, conflict of interest, acknowledgements, supportive/supplementary material if any, and an AI-use disclosure if AI tools were significantly used.
References Review Articles must include 100 or more references. References must be formatted in ACS style. References must be numbered sequentially in square brackets in the text and listed in the same numerical order in the reference section, with all authors named and no use of 'et al.'.
Figures & Tables There is no restriction on the number of figures, tables, or additional files that can be included online. Figures and tables must be embedded in the text according to their appropriate placement, while graphical abstracts must be uploaded separately and not embedded in the main manuscript file. Each table must include a self-explanatory title or caption, and each figure must be numbered consecutively and include a legend or caption.
