It covers oral, pulmonary, nasal, parenteral, and transdermal delivery systems, formulations, nanomedicine, targeted delivery, biologics delivery, biomimetic strategies, theranostics, toxicology, computational approaches, veterinary applications, alternative methods to animal testing, and industrial and regulatory issues. The journal uses single-anonymous peer review and does not accept bibliometric analyses.

Cover Letter A cover letter is mandatory. The cover letter must briefly explain the significance of the work and its key findings and state whether the manuscript is a new submission or a resubmission, including the original manuscript ID and changes made for a resubmission.
Abstract An abstract is required. The abstract must be 250 words. The abstract must be unstructured.
Manuscript The manuscript should be no more than 30 pages inclusive of tables, references, and figure or table captions. The manuscript must include Title page, Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusions, Acknowledgments, Ethical approval, Declaration of Interest Statement, Author Contributions Statement, Data Availability Statement, References, and Appendices as appropriate, followed by tables with captions on individual pages, figures, and figure captions as a list, in that order. The manuscript must include 3 to 5 keywords, an Author Contributions Statement, a Declaration of Interest Statement, a Data Availability Statement, funding details, and an acknowledgement of any AI use in the paper.
References References may be in any consistent scholarly citation style or format. All bibliographic entries must have a corresponding in-text citation.
Figures & Tables Figures and tables may be placed within the text or submitted as separate documents, but article-type-specific requirements state that tables with captions must be on individual pages and figure captions must be provided as a list. All photographs of tumours must include a ruler.
