Current Opinion In Neurology is an invitation-only journal. Submissions are accepted by invitation from the editorial board only. The following article types are accepted:

Review

Cover Letter Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract Review manuscripts must include a structured abstract. The abstract must be no longer than 200 words. The abstract must be structured. The abstract must use the headings 'Purpose of review', 'Recent findings', and 'Summary' and must not contain references.
Manuscript Review manuscripts must be approximately 2,500 words in length excluding references. Review manuscripts must include an introduction outlining the scope and context, subdivided text with headings and titled paragraphs, and a short concluding paragraph. The manuscript must include 3-5 keywords, 3-5 key bullet points after the main text, and acknowledgements with separate paragraphs for Acknowledgements, Financial support and sponsorship, and Conflicts of interest, while use of AI tools may be disclosed in the Acknowledgements.
References At least 80% of the references must be from the review period, published in the past 12-18 months. References must use Vancouver style in numerical sequence. References must list the first three authors or all authors if there are four or fewer, and most references from the review period should be bulleted and annotated to indicate special or outstanding interest.
Figures & Tables Reviews may include up to four additional elements as a combination of figures and tables. Figure titles and legends must be included in the main text following the references, and tables must not be embedded in the text but submitted as separate files. All figures and tables must be cited in the text, figures must be labelled as figures and numbered in order, tables must have an appropriate title, and figure legends must define abbreviations not used in the main text.
