Original Manuscript

Cover Letter Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract Abstract is required for Original Manuscripts. Structured abstract must not exceed 250 words. Abstract must be structured. Structured abstract must state the objectives of the study or investigation, basic methods, main results, and principal conclusions.
Manuscript Manuscript must be no longer than 3500 words excluding the abstract and references. Manuscript may be divided into sections headed Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion. Abstract must be followed by 3 to 10 keywords or short phrases, and any use of AI tools must be disclosed in the Materials and Methods or similar section with the tool and its use described.
References References must be numbered consecutively in the order first cited and cited using Arabic numerals in brackets. References with six or fewer authors must list all authors, references with seven or more authors must list the first six followed by et al., and journal names must be abbreviated as in MEDLINE.
Figures & Tables Original Manuscripts may include up to five illustrations in total, including figures and tables. Tables must be provided on separate pages in the manuscript, and figures must be submitted as separate files rather than embedded in the text file. Each table must be assigned an Arabic numeral and brief title, and legends for illustrations must be provided on a separate page with matching Arabic numerals.
