Current Opinion In Psychiatry is an invitation-only journal. Submissions are accepted by invitation from the editorial board only. The following article types are accepted:

Review

Cover Letter Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract A structured abstract is required for Review articles. Abstract must not exceed 200 words. Abstract must be structured.
Manuscript Review articles should be 2500 words in length. Manuscript must include an introduction outlining the scope and context of the review, headings and titled paragraphs subdividing the text, and a short concluding paragraph. Manuscript must include 3–5 keywords, 3–5 one-sentence key bullet points after the main text, and an acknowledgements section with separate paragraphs for Acknowledgements, Financial support and sponsorship, and Conflicts of interest.
References At least 80% of references must be from the review period and published in the past year to 18 months. References must use Vancouver style in numerical sequence. References must list the first three authors or all authors if there are four or fewer, use square-bracket citations in the text, and mark annotated in-period references with an asterisk and annotation in the reference list.
Figures & Tables Reviews are encouraged to include up to four additional elements in any combination of figures and tables. Figures and tables must not be embedded in the text and must be submitted as separate files. Figure titles and legends must be provided in the main manuscript after the references, figures and tables must be cited in the text, and all illustrations must be labelled as figures.
