Cover Letter Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract Abstract is required and must be 150 to 250 words. Abstract must be 150 to 250 words.
Manuscript Reviews must include a statement identifying who had the idea for the article, who performed the literature search and data analysis, who drafted and/or critically revised the work, and a disclosure statement.
References Citations must be numbered in square brackets. The reference list must include only cited works that are published or accepted for publication and must be numbered consecutively.
Figures & Tables Figures should be submitted within the body of the text unless file size causes upload problems, in which case large figures should be submitted separately. Tables and figures must be numbered with Arabic numerals, cited in consecutive numerical order, and accompanied by captions.

Invited Commentaries

Cover Letter A cover letter is required when suggesting reviewers, verifying identity details for suggested reviewers, or mentioning unpublished material included in the manuscript. The cover letter must mention any unpublished material included in the manuscript and may include reviewer suggestions with institutional email addresses or other identity-verifying information.
Abstract Invited Commentaries must include an abstract. The abstract must be 150 to 250 words.
Manuscript The manuscript must include 4 to 6 keywords and a Declarations section before the reference list that includes statements such as funding, competing interests, data and or code availability, and authors’ contribution statements, with AI use documented in the Methods section or another suitable part when applicable.
References References must be cited in the text using numbers in square brackets. The reference list must include only cited published or accepted works, be numbered consecutively, include full DOI links when available, and use standard journal title abbreviations or the full journal title if unsure.
Figures & Tables Figures should be submitted within the body of the text unless file size causes upload problems, in which case large figures should be submitted separately. Tables and figures must be numbered with Arabic numerals and cited in consecutive numerical order, each table must have a caption, and figure captions must be included in the manuscript text file rather than in the figure files.
