Diabetes, Metabolic Syndrome and Obesity: Targets and Therapy is an international, peer-reviewed, open access journal that publishes research on the pathophysiology, diagnosis and treatment of diabetes, metabolic syndrome and obesity, including thyroid and lipid disorders. The journal is committed to rapid publication of laboratory and clinical findings that establish new paradigms in the diagnosis, treatment or prevention of these conditions, and welcomes original research manuscripts, reviews, expert opinions, and commentaries.

Abstract A structured abstract is required. Abstract must not exceed 300 words. The abstract must be structured.
Manuscript Manuscript must include the sections Introduction, Material and Methods, Results, Discussion, and Conclusions. Manuscript must include 3–6 keywords, an Abbreviations section if applicable, and an acknowledgment of any AI use.
References References must follow AMA style. References must be numbered in the order cited, cited sequentially in the text, tables, and legends using superscript Arabic numerals, use PubMed journal abbreviations, and list all authors for six or fewer authors or the first three followed by et al. for more than six authors.
Figures & Tables Figures must be provided separately from the manuscript, while tables may be included in the manuscript or uploaded as separate files. Figures and tables must be cited in the text, the manuscript must not contain pasted figures, and tables must be submitted in an editable format rather than as images.
