Review Articles
Cover Letter
A formal and detailed proposal to the Editor is required before submission. The proposal must indicate the title and a brief outline of the content.
Abstract
An abstract is required. Abstract must not exceed 250 words. Abstract must be structured. Abstract must be divided into Purpose, Methods, Results, and Conclusion, and must include the heading "Level of evidence" at the end.
Manuscript
Manuscript must not exceed 7,500 words including the abstract, references, tables, and figures. Manuscript must include the heading "Strength and limits" at the end of the Discussion, followed by "What is already known on this subject?" and then "What this study adds?". Manuscript must include keywords, a Declarations section, a disclosure statement, a statement of responsibility specifying each author's contribution, and documentation of any LLM use in the Methods section or another suitable section if no Methods section is available.
References
References must be cited in the text using numbers in square brackets. Reference list entries must include only cited published or accepted works and be numbered consecutively, with full DOI links included where available.
Figures & Tables
Figures should be submitted within the body of the text unless file size causes upload problems, in which case large figures should be submitted separately. Tables must be numbered with Arabic numerals and include captions, and figures must be cited consecutively and have concise captions provided in the manuscript text file rather than within the figure files.

Abstract is required and must include a "Level of evidence" heading at the end. Abstract must not exceed 250 words. Abstract must be structured. Abstract must be divided into Purpose, Methods, Results, and Conclusion, with "Level of evidence" added at the end.
Manuscript
Manuscript must not exceed 5,000 words including the abstract, references, tables, and figures. Manuscript must include a "Strength and limits" heading at the end of the Discussion followed by "What is already known on this subject?" and "What this study adds?". Manuscript must include keywords, a Declarations section, a disclosure statement, an author contribution statement, documentation of any LLM use in the Methods or other suitable section, and a data availability statement describing available data, where they can be found, and any access terms.
References
Citations must be numbered in square brackets. Reference list entries must include only cited published or accepted works and must be numbered consecutively, with full DOI links included where available.
