Original Articles

Cover Letter A covering letter is required and must be signed by all contributors. The covering letter must mention previous publication or presentations, sources of funding, and conflicts of interest.
Abstract A structured abstract is required. Abstract must be 250 words. Abstract must be structured.
Manuscript Manuscript text must be up to 3000 words excluding abstract, references, and tables. Manuscript must be divided into Abstract, Key-words, Introduction, Material and Methods, Results, Discussion, References, Tables, and Figure legends. At least three keywords must be provided, and any use of generative AI or AI-assisted technologies must be disclosed in the manuscript.
References Original Articles should include about 30 references. References must follow the Uniform Requirements for Manuscripts Submitted to Biomedical Journals. References must be numbered consecutively in order of first mention and cited as Arabic numerals in superscript within square brackets after punctuation, with journal titles abbreviated according to Index Medicus style.
Figures & Tables Tables must be included at the end of the text after the references, figure legends must be included at the end of the article file, and images must be uploaded as separate files rather than incorporated into the blinded article file. Tables with more than 10 columns and 25 rows are not acceptable.

Review Articles

Cover Letter A covering letter is required. The covering letter must be signed by all contributors and include previous publication or presentation details, sources of funding, and conflicts of interest.
Abstract An abstract is required. The abstract must be unstructured and about 150 words. The abstract must be unstructured.
Manuscript The manuscript must be up to 3000 words excluding tables, references, and abstract. The manuscript must include a section describing the methods used for locating, selecting, extracting, and synthesizing data. The manuscript must include at least three keywords and a disclosure of any generative AI or AI-assisted technologies used and how they were used.
References The article may have about 90 references. References must be numbered consecutively in the order first mentioned and cited as superscript Arabic numerals in square brackets after punctuation marks, with journal titles abbreviated according to Index Medicus style.
Figures & Tables Tables must be included at the end of the text after the references, figures must be uploaded as separate files, and figure legends must be included at the end of the article file. Each table must be numbered consecutively in Arabic numerals with a brief title, and tables with more than 10 columns and 25 rows are not acceptable.
