Original Articles

Cover Letter A cover letter addressed to the Editor-in-Chief stating why the article should be considered for publication is required. The cover letter must explain why the journal should consider the article for publication.
Abstract An abstract is required. Abstract must be 250 words. Abstract must include a statement of clinical significance, and clinical trial studies must mention the clinical trial registry number in the abstract.
Manuscript Manuscript must be limited to 3000 to 5000 words. The title must include the study design, and clinical trial studies must mention the clinical trial registry number in the Methods section. The manuscript must include a statement of clinical significance at the end of the main text, a list of 3 to 10 keywords below the abstract, a separate Declarations document with the specified headings, a list of abbreviations, and AI use disclosures in the Materials and Methods or similar section when applicable.
References References may include up to 40 entries. References must follow Vancouver style. References must be listed in order of appearance in the text, with citation numbers given as superscripts at the end of the relevant sentence and multiple numbers separated by commas.
Figures & Tables A maximum of 5 tables and figures in total is allowed. Figures and figure legends must be uploaded in a separate file, figures must be placed in numerical order following the reference list, and tables must be placed in numerical order at the end of the manuscript following the list of figures. Each figure and table must have a descriptive legend, and figure and table callouts must be placed in the manuscript text to indicate placement.
