Original Article

Cover Letter Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract Abstract is required for Original Articles. Abstract must be structured and limited to 250 words. Abstract must be structured. Abstract must use the subheadings Background, methods, results, conclusion, and keywords.
Manuscript Manuscript must be 3000-4500 words excluding abstract, references, figures, and tables. Manuscript must be divided into Background, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, and Conclusion. Include three or more keywords and, after the conclusion and before the references, the sections Acknowledgments, Authors' contributions, Financial disclosure, and Conflict of interest, and disclose any use of generative AI or AI-assisted technologies in the Methods or Acknowledgments section.
References References must be numbered consecutively in order of first mention, cited in the text as superscript numbers in square brackets after punctuation, and journal titles must be abbreviated according to Index Medicus style.
Figures & Tables Tables must be included in the blinded article file after the references, figure and image legends must be included at the end of the article file, and images must be uploaded as separate files rather than incorporated into the article file. Tables must be self-explanatory and numbered consecutively in Arabic numerals with a brief title, and figures must be numbered consecutively in the order of first citation.

Review Article

Cover Letter A title page or first page file must include a statement that all authors have read and approved the manuscript and, if not provided elsewhere, corresponding author details and individual conflict disclosures.
Abstract An abstract is required. Abstract must be limited to 250 words. Abstract must be unstructured. Abstract must summarize the methods used for locating, selecting, extracting, and synthesizing data.

References Manuscript may include about 90 references. References must be numbered consecutively in order of first mention, cited in the text as superscript numbers in square brackets after punctuation, and journal titles must be abbreviated according to Index Medicus style.
Figures & Tables Tables must be included in the blinded article file and provided at the end of the text after the references, while images must be uploaded separately and figure legends must appear at the end of the article file. Tables with more than 10 columns and 25 rows are not acceptable, and figure legends must not exceed 40 words excluding any credit line.
