Manuscript
Research Articles have no upper or lower word, figure, or table limits. Research Articles are expected to include Materials and Methods and Results sections, and the Materials and Methods must provide enough detail for replication. The title page must include no more than six keywords and a disclosure summary, and any use of artificial intelligence tools must be disclosed in the Methods or Acknowledgments sections.
References
References must use AMA style. References must list all authors for initial submission and be numbered consecutively in the order cited in the text, figures, and tables.
Figures & Tables
Research Articles have no upper or lower word, figure, or table limits. Tables and figures may be placed after the references or tables may be uploaded separately, and all legends must be provided separately after the references. All figures and tables in Research Articles must be original and numbered sequentially.
Mini-Reviews

Abstract
An abstract is required. Abstract must be no longer than 250 words. Abstract must be prepared as a structured abstract.
Manuscript
Mini-Reviews must range from 2,000 to 5,000 words. Mini-Reviews should include a brief section describing the search strategies used to obtain information for the review. The title page must include no more than six keywords, and any use of artificial intelligence tools must be disclosed in the Methods or Acknowledgments section.
References
References must use AMA style. References must be cited and listed in consecutive numerical order, and all authors must be listed in references for the initial submission.
Figures & Tables
Tables must be uploaded as separate .doc or .docx files or placed at the end of the manuscript document, and figures and tables must be placed after the references in the manuscript. Reproduced or adapted figures and tables are allowed in Mini-Reviews only if permission is obtained before submission, attribution and a credit line are included, copies of permissions are provided with the submission files, and an acknowledgment line is added at the end of the legend.
