Original Articles

Cover Letter Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract Original Articles must begin after the main title with a structured Summary of no more than 250 words. The Summary must not exceed 250 words. The Summary must be structured. Appropriate headings are Background/Objectives, Materials/Methods, Results, Limitations, and Conclusions/Implications.
Manuscript Original Articles should ideally be between 4000 and 6000 words including figure legends and references. Original Articles should include, where appropriate, keywords, an Introduction, Materials (or Subjects) and Methods, Results, Discussion, Conflict of interest statement, Data availability statement, any Acknowledgements, Funding, References, and Figure Legends. The main file must be completely anonymized and contain no potentially author-identifying information such as authors’ names or affiliations.
References References must follow Oxford SCIMED style after initial review.
Figures & Tables Figures and tables must be uploaded as separate files, and figure captions must be provided as a list after the references in the main file.

Systematic Reviews

When applicable, abstract headings should be Background, Objectives, Search methods, Selection criteria, Data collection and analysis, Results, Conclusions, Registration, and Conflict of interest.
Manuscript Manuscript should ideally be between 4000 and 6000 words including figure legends and references. A trial registration number should be included after the abstract.
