European Urology Oncology is the official journal of the European Association of Urology focused on genitourinary malignancies. It publishes high quality clinical, basic, and translational research with a multidisciplinary approach spanning urology, medical oncology, radiation therapy, imaging, pathology, and basic research. The journal includes original articles, opinion piece editorials, and invited reviews, is published six times a year in electronic format, and uses peer review.

Abstract A structured abstract is required. Abstract must not exceed 250 words. Abstract must be structured. Abstract must use the headings Background and Objective, Methods, Key Findings and Limitations, and Conclusions and Clinical Implications, and it must end with a patient summary of two or three short sentences in plain English.
Manuscript Original Articles must be no longer than 2750 words including the abstract but excluding references, tables, figures, and legends. Text must be divided into Introduction; Material (Patients) and Methods; Results; Discussion; and Conclusions. Manuscript must include a 'What does the study add?' section of 3 to 4 sentences, and a take home message of two or three sentences not exceeding 40 words must be uploaded as a separate file, and the manuscript must include a declaration of generative AI and AI-assisted technologies in the writing process at the end of the core manuscript before the references if applicable.
