Original Research Articles

Cover Letter Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract An unstructured abstract is required. Abstract must not exceed 250 words. Abstract must be unstructured. Abstract must succinctly state the objectives, experimental design, principal observations, and conclusions.
Manuscript Manuscript must contain Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References in that order. The title page must include bullet-point main points of no more than 250 characters including spaces, the manuscript may include up to seven keywords, and any substantial use of AI to edit, develop, or translate the manuscript must be disclosed.
References Any linked dataset cited in the manuscript must also be cited in the reference list using authors, year, dataset title, repository or archive, version if any, and a persistent identifier.
Figures & Tables Text, figures, and tables may be included in one editable manuscript file or figures and tables may be submitted as separate files, while tables should be presented in the manuscript file rather than pasted as images. Figures and tables must have legends, figures must be numbered with Arabic numerals in order of appearance, and tables must be supplied in an editable Word format with titles and footnotes.
