Scientific Research Report

Cover Letter A cover letter to the Editor-in-Chief is required. The cover letter must indicate the manuscript title.
Abstract An abstract is required. Abstract must not exceed 300 words. Abstract must be structured. Abstract must contain Introduction and aims, Methods, Results, Conclusion, and Clinical Relevance.
Manuscript Text excluding the abstract and references has no word limit. Manuscript must include Title Page, abstract, Main Text, Acknowledgements, References, Tables, Figure Legends, and Figures as appropriate, with articles divided into clearly defined sections. Manuscript must include keywords, a competing interests statement, a summary declaration of interest statement, funding information, author contribution statements including final author approval, and an AI use declaration section before the references when generative AI was used in manuscript preparation.
References References have no limit. References must use Vancouver style. References must be cited in the text with superscript numbers, listed in numerical order of appearance, and for works with more than 6 authors the first 6 must be listed followed by 'et al.'.
Figures & Tables Combined figures and tables must not exceed 7. Figures must be submitted as separate files with captions supplied separately, while the manuscript includes tables and figure legends as appropriate. Figures must be numbered in sequence with relevant captions, and tables must be numbered consecutively with titles, descriptions, and footnotes.

Concise Review

Manuscript must include keywords, a competing interests statement, funding information, author contribution disclosures including final author approval, and any generative AI declaration in a section placed before the references.
References References have no limit. References must use Vancouver style. References must be cited as superscript numbers in the text, listed in order of appearance, and for more than 6 authors only the first 6 should be listed followed by 'et al.'.
