Submission Instructions

Nuclear Medicine and Biology accepts the following article types. Click on an article type to view submission instructions.

Research Articles

Cover Letter Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract An abstract is required. Abstract must not exceed 250 words. Abstract should be structured with appropriate headings. Structured abstract should include context or background, purpose, basic procedures, main findings, and principal conclusions with emphasis on new and important aspects of the study.
Manuscript Research Articles should report a complete investigation containing original research, and the manuscript must be divided into clearly defined and numbered sections. Manuscript must include 1 to 6 English keywords, a graphical abstract submitted as a separate file, CRediT author contribution acknowledgements, and a generative AI declaration statement before the references if AI tools were used in manuscript preparation.
References References must be cited by number in square brackets and listed in numerical order of appearance. Every cited reference must appear in the reference list, references cited in the abstract must be given in full, references with more than 6 authors must list the first 6 followed by 'et al.,' and journal names must be abbreviated according to LTWA.
Figures & Tables Tables must be submitted as editable text and figures and other artwork must be supplied as separate files along with the manuscript.
