International Journal of Women's Dermatology is a global open-access dermatology journal and the official journal of the Women's Dermatologic Society. It publishes peer-reviewed research on medical, surgical, reproductive, and cosmetic dermatologic topics relevant to female patients and their families, along with career issues affecting female dermatologists, and includes original research, reviews, case reports, novel treatments, clinical trial results, basic science, dermatopathology, educational material, clinical pearls, mentorship, and ethical matters.

Original Research

Cover Letter If submitting possibly duplicate published material, the cover letter must explain why the manuscript is not a duplicate publication.
Abstract An abstract is required. Abstract must not exceed 250 words.
Manuscript Manuscript text must be no longer than 3,000 words. The manuscript must include a text box at the beginning with the headings "What is known about this subject with respect to women and their families?" and "What is new in this article with respect to women and their families?", and any AI use must be disclosed in the Materials and Methods or similar section.
References There is no limit on references. References must use AMA style. References must be numbered in the order cited, include article titles, list no more than six authors or the first three followed by "et al." if seven or more, and use Index Medicus journal abbreviations.
Figures & Tables Up to 8 tables or graphs may be included. Tables may be included in the main body file or uploaded separately, but figures must not be embedded in the main body file and each figure must be uploaded as a separate file. Each table must appear on a separate page with a concise title and be cited in numerical order, and all figures must have numbered legends on a separate page.
