Original Report

Cover Letter A cover letter is required as a separate document file. The cover letter must include a Statement of Authorship, Notifications of Conflicts of Interest, Ethical Adherence, and a detailed explanation of any use of Artificial Intelligence authoring tools.
Abstract An abstract is required. No word limit is specified for the abstract. The abstract must be structured. The abstract must use the headings Objectives, Materials and Methods, Results, and Conclusions.
Manuscript The manuscript must be organized under the five main headings Abstract, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, and Discussion. The manuscript must include up to ten key words and include any use of Artificial Intelligence authoring tools in the Acknowledgments.
References References must follow American Medical Association style. References must be cited in the text in order of appearance, listed double-spaced at the end of the manuscript, and list only the first three authors followed by et al when there are more than three authors.
Figures & Tables Figures must be submitted as separate files, while tables must be grouped at the end of the manuscript or supplied together in a separate file and neither figures nor tables may be embedded within the manuscript body. Figure legends must be provided on a separate manuscript page after the references, and each table must be on a separate sheet with a title, column heads, and explanatory legends including definitions of abbreviations.
