Original Research submissions must include an abstract. Abstract must not exceed 350 words. Abstract must be structured. Abstract must be organized into Background, Objective, Methods, Results, Conclusion, and Clinical Impact sections.
Manuscript
Main manuscript text from Introduction through Discussion must not exceed 4500 words. Manuscript must be organized into Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion sections. Submission must include Highlights with Key Finding and Importance sections, with Key Finding limited to 50 words, Importance limited to 25 words, and disclosure of any generative AI use in manuscript preparation.
References
References must not exceed 50, except Original Research articles in the Evidence Synthesis and Decision Analysis section may include up to 100 references. References must be numbered consecutively in order of citation, cited in the text using bracketed numbers, list all authors when there are six or fewer authors, list the first three followed by et al. when there are seven or more authors, include inclusive page numbers, and use Index Medicus journal abbreviations.
Figures & Tables
