Abstract An abstract of 300 words or less is required. Abstract must not exceed 300 words. Abstract must be structured. Abstract must include the headings Purpose, Materials and methods, Results, and Conclusion.
Manuscript Text must not exceed 4,500 words, excluding references. Text must be arranged as Introduction, Materials and methods, Results, and Discussion. Manuscript must include 4 to 6 keywords, a Declaration section before the references including a data availability statement, documentation of any Large Language Model use in Methods or a suitable alternative section, the manuscript type and text word count, and a disclosure statement.
References References must follow Vancouver style. References must be numbered consecutively in order of first mention, cited in the text with numbers in square brackets, use journal abbreviations in Vancouver style, and list all authors if six or fewer or the first six followed by et al. if seven or more.
Figures & Tables A maximum of 8 figures is permitted. Figures should be submitted within the body of the text, with large figures submitted separately only if file size causes upload problems, while tables must be prepared separately from the text. Tables must be numbered in Arabic numerals and titled, and figures must be numbered consecutively with a caption supplied for each illustration.
