Research Article

Cover Letter Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract Abstract must be unstructured with no sub-headers.
Manuscript Research Articles are typically around 3000–8000 words in their entirety. Manuscript must contain the sections abstract, introduction, methods, results, discussion, and conclusions, with a subsection entitled "Statistical Analysis" at the end of the Experimental Section. Manuscript may include up to seven keywords, and any use of a generative AI tool must be transparently disclosed in the Methods section, a disclosure, or the Acknowledgements section, as applicable.
References References must be numbered consecutively in the order they appear in the text.
Figures & Tables Research Articles typically include 3–8 display items including figures, schemes, or tables. Manuscripts can be submitted either with figures and tables embedded in a single document or with figures and tables provided as separate files. Figure legends should be provided in a separate figure legend section in the manuscript after the references.
