Systemic Review Articles

Cover Letter A cover letter is required, and a one-paragraph proposal describing the topic and methods must be submitted by email to the editorial office. The cover letter must include the corresponding author's address, phone number, fax number, and/or email address.
Abstract An abstract is required. Abstract must be limited to 250 words. Abstract must be structured. Abstract must include the headings Background, Methods, Results, and Conclusions.
Manuscript Manuscript must not exceed 3,500 words. Text must be organized into Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, and Discussion, and the Methods section must include Study identification, Study Eligibility, Data Abstraction, and Study Quality subsections. Manuscript must include three to five keywords or phrases and must disclose any AI tool use in the Materials and Methods or similar section, identifying how the tool was used and which tool was used.
References References may not exceed 75. References must follow AMA style. References must be cited in the text in order of appearance, and for works with more than three authors only the first three authors should be listed followed by et al.
Figures & Tables A combined total of tables and figures may not exceed six. Figures and tables must be uploaded as separate files and must not be embedded in the manuscript body. Figure legends must be provided on a separate manuscript page after the references, and each table must appear on a separate page with a title, column heads, and explanatory legends.

The manuscript must include three to five keywords or phrases and disclose any use of AI tools in the Materials and Methods or similar section.
References The manuscript may include up to 50 references. References must follow AMA style. References must be cited in the text in order of appearance, and when a reference has more than three authors only the first three should be listed followed by et al.
Figures & Tables The manuscript may include up to 6 tables and/or figures. Figures and tables must be uploaded separately and must not be embedded in the manuscript. Each figure must include a legend on a separate manuscript page after the references, and each table must be provided on a separate page or in a separate Word file with a title and any needed explanatory legends.
