Sarcoidosis, Vasculitis and Diffuse Lung Diseases publishes original articles on the prevalence, causes, mechanisms, diagnosis, management, treatment, and prevention of sarcoidosis, vasculitis, and interstitial lung diseases. Original Articles
Cover Letter
An accompanying cover letter is required. The cover letter must state that all authors have read and agreed with the content and interpretation of the submitted article and include a declaration by the corresponding author on behalf of all authors concerning any financial agreements that may constitute a potential conflict of interest.
Abstract
An abstract is required. The abstract must be no more than 250–300 words. The abstract must be structured. The abstract must be divided into Background, Objectives, Methods, Results, and Conclusions.
Manuscript
The main text must not exceed 5000 words including the abstract and main body text but excluding references, figures, and tables. Original Articles must be divided into Abstract, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and References. The manuscript must include at least 3 keywords, a competing interests section at the end, and disclosure of AI use in the Methods or Acknowledgments section with explicit declaration of any AI tools used in preparing references under the Declarations section.
References
References must follow the National Library of Medicine style. References must be numbered in Arabic numerals in parentheses in order of first appearance in the text, list all authors when there are 6 or fewer and the first 3 followed by et al. when there are 7 or more, and use abbreviated journal titles.
Figures & Tables
Tables must be included in the same file at the end of the text, while figures may be embedded in the manuscript at the appropriate location or uploaded separately as supplementary files if prepared in JPEG, TIFF, or high-resolution PDF format. Tables and figures must be numbered consecutively with Arabic numerals, each must have a legend, and each must be cited in full in the text.
