Original Article

Cover Letter Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract Original Articles must include a structured abstract. The abstract must be up to 250 words. The abstract must be structured.
Manuscript Original Articles must not exceed 5,000 words excluding the abstract, references, and table/figure legends. Original Articles must be organized as Title page, Abstract and Keywords, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, Discussion, Conflicts of Interest, Acknowledgements, References, and Tables and/or Figures. Original Articles must include three to ten keywords and disclose any AI-assisted technologies used in the Acknowledgements, including what was produced if AI was used.
References References must be ordered by appearance in the text using Vancouver style. Journal abbreviations must follow Index Medicus, and journal citations should list all co-authors unless there are more than seven authors, in which case the first six should be listed followed by "et al.".
Figures & Tables Original Articles must include fewer than 10 tables and figures in total. Figures must be submitted separately from the main manuscript. Tables must be numbered in text order with sentence-case titles above and abbreviation keys or explanations below as needed, while figures must be numbered in text order and any non-author-generated images must be identified with their source.
