Original Articles
Cover Letter
A cover letter is required. Cover letter should indicate why the manuscript is suitable for publication and must state any third-party writing/editing assistance or submission made by someone not listed as an author.
Abstract
A structured abstract is required. Abstract must not exceed 200 words. Abstract must be structured as 3 or 4 paragraphs without citations or abbreviations. Structured abstract should use common headings including Background/Hypothesis, Methods, Results, and Conclusion/Interpretation.
Manuscript
Article must not exceed 6,000 words including the abstract and acknowledgement but excluding the author contributions statement, disclosure, references, figure legends, tables, and figures. Manuscript must be organized in this order: Title page, structured abstract (and graphical abstract), five key words, Introduction, Material and Methods, Results, Discussion, Acknowledgements, Author contribution statement, Disclosure/conflict of interest, sentence regarding supplementary information if any, References, Figure legends, Tables, and Figures. Manuscript must include five key words, an Author contribution statement, Disclosure/conflict of interest, a sentence regarding supplementary information if any, and a Statements and Declarations section with each required subheading including 'Not applicable' where relevant.
References
References must follow Sage Vancouver style. Every in-text citation must have a corresponding reference list entry and vice versa, with identical spelling and year in corresponding citations.
Figures & Tables
Figures and tables must total no more than 7. Figures must not be embedded in the text and must be submitted individually, while figure legends must appear on a separate manuscript page after the references. All figures must be numbered consecutively in the order cited in the text.

References
