Journal of Fluency Disorders is the official journal of the World Stuttering & Cluttering Organization and focuses specifically on clinical, experimental, and theoretical aspects of speech fluency disorders, particularly stuttering and cluttering, including contemporary evidence-based interventions. It publishes scientific articles on topics related to speech fluency disorders, including original research articles, review articles, methodological articles, short communications, and letters to the editor, with case studies accepted only when they conform to single-subject experimental design principles.

Abstract An abstract is required. Abstract must not exceed 250 words. Abstract must be unstructured and concise and factual enough to stand alone.
Manuscript Manuscript must be divided into clearly defined and numbered sections, with the abstract excluded from section numbering. Manuscript submission must include 1 to 7 English keywords, 3 to 5 highlights submitted separately, and an AI declaration at the end of the manuscript before the references if AI tools were used in manuscript preparation.
References Citations and references must follow American Psychological Association, Seventh Edition (2020) style. Reference list must be arranged alphabetically and then chronologically, with same-author same-year works distinguished by letters after the year.
Figures & Tables Tables must appear in the anonymized manuscript, while figures and other graphical media must be supplied as separate files. Tables must be editable text with captions and consecutive numbering, and all figures must be separately numbered, cited in the text, and accompanied by captions.
