Journal of Physiotherapy is the official journal of the Australian Physiotherapy Association. Its mission is to publish high-quality research with important impact for global physiotherapy practice and to help clinicians access, understand and implement research evidence that improves person-centred care. The journal prioritises systematic reviews and reports of clinical trials, economic analyses, experimental studies, qualitative studies, epidemiological studies, and observational studies.

Abstract A concise and factual abstract is required.
Manuscript Systematic Reviews must not exceed 5000 words, excluding the title page, abstract, references, tables, and figure legends. The manuscript must include a separate AI declaration statement immediately above the references if AI or AI-assisted tools were used in the writing process.
References References must follow JAMA style. References must be cited in the text using consecutive superscript Arabic numerals and listed in numbered order of first appearance, with journal titles abbreviated according to PubMed.
