It publishes translational research across autoimmune diseases and considers both direct submissions and transfers from Journal of Autoimmunity. The journal welcomes formats including original research, systematic reviews, letters to the editor, brief communications, and case studies or case cohorts.

Abstract An abstract is required. Abstract must not exceed 250 words. Abstract must be unstructured.
Manuscript Manuscript must be divided into clearly defined and numbered sections. Manuscript must include 1 to 7 keywords, a Generative AI disclosure section before the references if AI tools were used in manuscript preparation, and highlights consisting of three to five bullet points.
References References must be cited using a numbered style with numbers in square brackets. References must be numbered in the order they appear in the article and journal names in the reference list must be abbreviated according to the List of Title Word Abbreviations.
Figures & Tables Figures must be supplied as separate files, while table placement is not explicitly stated beyond being submitted as editable text.
