Research Article

Cover Letter A cover letter is required. Cover letter should be short, ideally less than one page, and should clearly state the study aim, main findings, fit with the journal’s scope, novelty, and broader implications.
Abstract An abstract is required. Abstract must not exceed 300 words. Abstract must be unstructured and concise and factual.
Manuscript Research Article manuscript must not exceed 5000 words excluding abstract, captions, and references. Manuscript must be divided into clearly defined sections covering all essential elements using headings. Manuscript must include 1 to 6 English keywords, separate highlights of 3 to 5 bullet points, and a single sentence before the bibliography stating that all authors attest they meet the ICMJE criteria for authorship, with any generative AI-created images disclosed in the relevant image captions.
References References must be cited by number in square brackets, listed in the reference list in order of appearance, and for works with more than 6 authors the first 6 authors should be listed followed by "et al.".
Figures & Tables Tables must be placed next to the relevant text or on separate pages at the end of the article, while figures and other artwork must be supplied as separate files along with the manuscript. Tables must be editable text with captions and figures must each have a caption, and all tables and figures must be cited and numbered consecutively in the manuscript text.

Manuscript Manuscript must not exceed 2000 words excluding the abstract, captions, and references. Manuscript must be divided into clearly defined sections covering all essential elements using headings. The manuscript must include 1 to 6 English keywords, 3 to 5 highlights submitted as a separate editable file, a single sentence before the bibliography attesting that all authors meet the ICMJE authorship criteria, and disclosure in each image caption if generative AI was used to create images.
References References must be cited in the text using numbers in square brackets and listed in numerical order, with more than 6 authors shortened to the first 6 followed by "et al.".

Manuscript Manuscript must not exceed 500 words, excluding captions and references. Manuscript must be a Letter to the Editor discussing an article within 8 weeks of its original publication date. All articles must include a single sentence before the bibliography stating that all authors attest they meet the ICMJE criteria for authorship.
References Citations in the text must use numbers in square brackets, and the reference list must be numbered in order of first appearance with the first 6 authors listed before 'et al.' for works with more than 6 authors.
Figures & Tables Figures and tables must not be included.
