Journal of Urban Health publishes interdisciplinary research on the health and well-being of people in cities, with emphasis on broader determinants of health, health inequities, urban policy, programs, and governance. It publishes original data, case studies, commentaries, book reviews, executive summaries of selected reports, proceedings from important global meetings, and work presenting new analytic methods including systems science approaches to urban problem solving.

Abstract Abstract must be unstructured and must not exceed 250 words. Abstract must be unstructured.
Manuscript Manuscript should be no longer than 4,000 words, excluding the abstract, tables/figures, and references. Manuscript must include Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion sections.
References Manuscript may include a maximum of 50 references. References must follow JAMA/PUBMED style. Citations must be numbered in order of appearance within brackets.
Figures & Tables Manuscript may include a maximum of 4 tables and figures. Figure captions must be included in the manuscript text file rather than within the figure files. All figures must be supplied electronically.
