Original Papers

Cover Letter Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract Abstract is permitted for Original Papers. Abstract may be up to 250 words long. Abstract must be structured. Abstract must use the headings Objectives, Methods, Results and Conclusions.
Manuscript Original Papers are preferred to be up to 3,000 words. Manuscript must include Introduction, Materials and Methods, and Results and Discussion sections, with limitations included in Results and Discussion. Manuscript must include conflict of interest, funding, and contributorship statements before the references, including the name of a guarantor in the contributorship statement.
References References must use the Vancouver numbered reference system. References should include the author, title, year, and DOI or URL where possible, and journal titles should be abbreviated according to Index Medicus.
Figures & Tables Figures must be uploaded separately as figure files, while tables must be included in the text file. Each table must have a descriptive caption.

Case Reports

Abstract A short structured abstract is required and for Case Reports it should preferably be no more than 150 words. Abstract should preferably be no more than 150 words. Abstract must be structured.
Manuscript Manuscript must be no more than 1,000 words in length. Manuscript must include Introduction, Case, Discussion, and Conclusion or summary points sections. Manuscript must provide 2 to 5 keywords, and the Case section must include patient description, case history, physical examination results, results of pathological tests and other investigations, treatment plan, expected outcome of the treatment plan, and actual outcome.
References Case Reports may cite up to ten references. References must use the Vancouver numbered reference system. References should include the author, title, year, and DOI or URL where possible, and journal titles should be abbreviated according to Index Medicus.
Figures & Tables Original artwork and images must be submitted separately from the main text, while tables must be included in the text file and not supplied separately. Pictures must be suitably anonymized and figures and tables referred to in the text must include suitable captions.
