Article

Cover Letter A cover letter is required. Cover letter must provide the corresponding author’s affiliation and contact information, briefly explain the importance of the work and its suitability for the journal readership, and confirm that the manuscript reports original research that has not been previously published or submitted elsewhere.
Abstract An abstract is required. Abstract must not exceed 200 words. Abstract must be unstructured.
Manuscript Main text must not exceed 4,000 words, excluding the abstract, tables/figures, and references. Manuscript should include a Methods section with enough detail for reproduction and a Discussion whose final paragraph states the main conclusions and future research direction. Manuscript must document any use of a large language model in the Methods section or another suitable section, include an author contributions statement, include competing interests information, and be indexed with one to four unique subject terms.
References References are limited to a maximum of 60. References must follow Vancouver format. In-text citations must be numbered consecutively from 1 and the reference list must be in numerical order, listing all authors up to six and the first six followed by et al. for more than six.
Figures & Tables Articles may include a maximum of 8 tables or figures. Figures must be uploaded as separate files rather than embedded in the text, and each table must be uploaded as a separate file. Figure legends must be provided on a separate manuscript page after the references, and tables must be editable.

Review Article

Cover Letter A cover letter is required. Cover letter must include the corresponding author's affiliation and contact information, briefly explain the importance of the work and its suitability for the journal readership, and confirm that the submission is original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere.
Abstract An abstract is required. Abstract must be unstructured and must not exceed 300 words. Abstract must be unstructured.
Manuscript Main text must not exceed 6,000 words, excluding the abstract, tables/figures, and references. Use of a large language model must be documented in the Methods section or in a suitable alternative part of the manuscript if no Methods section is available.
References Review Articles may include a maximum of 100 references. References must follow Vancouver format. References must be cited in the text as numbered citations starting at one and listed in double-spaced numerical order, listing all authors for up to six authors and the first six followed by et al. for more than six authors.
Figures & Tables Review Articles may include a maximum of 8 tables or figures. Figures must be uploaded as separate files and must not be embedded within the text, and each table must be uploaded as a separate file. Composite figures containing more than three individual figures count as two figures.
