Original Articles

Cover Letter Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract An abstract is required. Abstract must be 150 to 250 words. Abstract must be unstructured and presented as a single paragraph with no subsections.
Manuscript Original Articles must use the headings Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results, and Discussion in that order, and must not include separate Conclusion or Summary headings. Immediately after the abstract, provide no more than 6 keywords, and if AI tools were used for manuscript preparation include a declaration statement at the end of the manuscript immediately above the references specifying the tool used and the reason for using it.
References References must follow Vancouver style. Citations must be numbered in order of first appearance using Arabic numerals in brackets, and the reference list must be numbered consecutively with up to six authors listed before et al. for additional authors.
Figures & Tables Figures must be uploaded as separate artwork files and not embedded in the manuscript text, while figure captions must be included in the manuscript text file as legends. Tables and figures must be numbered with Arabic numerals and cited in consecutive numerical order, each table must have a title, and each figure must have a concise caption identifying all elements shown.

Manuscript Invited Review Articles should generally be 20 to 25 pages, excluding figures, references, acknowledgments, and similar items. Manuscript must be submitted as a single Microsoft Word document using double line spacing. Provide a maximum of six keywords immediately after the abstract, and include a declaration of interest statement plus a 'Declaration of Generative AI and AI-assisted technologies in the writing process' statement immediately above the references if AI or AI-assisted tools were used.
References References must follow Vancouver style. Citations must appear in numerical order using Arabic numbers in brackets, and the reference list must be numbered consecutively in order of first citation with only cited published or accepted works included, listing only the first six authors followed by et al. when there are more than six authors.
Figures & Tables Figures must be supplied as separate artwork files and must not be embedded in the text. Tables and figures must be numbered with Arabic numerals, cited in consecutive numerical order, each table must have a title, and each figure must have a concise caption provided in the manuscript text file as a figure legend.
