Feature Paper

Cover Letter A cover letter is required with the submission. The cover letter must briefly explain the paper’s significance, explain its fit to the journal’s scope, and include the statement that all authors have approved the manuscript and agree with its submission to Marine Drugs.
Abstract An abstract is required as part of the front matter. Abstract should be about 200 words maximum. Abstract must be a single paragraph written in a structured style without headings.
Manuscript Manuscript should be a substantial original Article with front matter of Title, Author list, Affiliations, Abstract, and Keywords; main sections of Introduction, Results, Discussion, Materials and Methods, and optional Conclusions; and back matter of Supplementary Materials, Author Contributions, Funding, Data Availability Statement, Acknowledgments, Conflicts of Interest, and References. Three to ten keywords must follow the abstract, feature papers should involve several techniques or approaches and provide an outlook for future research directions and possible research applications, and applicable use of generative AI must be disclosed in the manuscript and its product details provided in the Acknowledgments section.
References References must be numbered in order of appearance, cited in square brackets before punctuation, and listed individually at the end of the manuscript with full titles.
Figures & Tables In Microsoft Word manuscripts, graphics should be inserted in the main text after the paragraph of first citation. Figures, schemes, and tables must be numbered in order of appearance and accompanied by a short explanatory title and caption.

Article
