Neurotoxicology and Teratology publishes peer-reviewed research on the effects of chemical and physical agents on the developing, adult, or aging nervous system, with emphasis on behavioral outcomes and underlying physiological, neurochemical, molecular, and immunological mechanisms. The journal covers experimental, clinical, and epidemiological studies on neurotoxicity and functional teratology, including work on pesticides, solvents, heavy metals, nanomaterials, organometals, industrial compounds, drugs, toxins, atmospheric reaction products, radiation, and noise, and also publishes special issues, reviews, commentaries, symposium papers, theoretical articles, and short communications.

Manuscript
Manuscript must be divided into clearly defined and numbered sections. The manuscript must include 1 to 7 English keywords, a generative AI declaration in a new section before the references if applicable, acknowledgements in a separate section before the references, CRediT author contribution acknowledgements, and editable author biographies of up to 100 words each.
References
References may be submitted in any consistent style or format. Every in-text citation must appear in the reference list and vice versa, and references should include core bibliographic elements such as author names, title, year, and volume or pages where applicable.
