Regenerative Therapy is the official peer-reviewed online journal of the Japanese Society for Regenerative Medicine. It is a multidisciplinary journal that publishes original articles and reviews covering basic research, clinical translation, industrial development, and regulatory issues in stem cell biology, tissue engineering, gene therapy, and regenerative medicine.

Original Articles

Cover Letter Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract A concise and factual abstract is required. Abstract must be structured with four labeled sections. Abstract headings must be Introduction, Methods, Results, and Conclusions.
Manuscript Original Articles must be arranged as Title, Abstract, Highlights, Key words, Abbreviations, Main Text, and References, with the Main Text consisting of Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusions, and Acknowledgment(s). Manuscript must include highlights consisting of 3 to 5 bullet points of no more than 85 characters each, 3 to 6 keywords, a competing interests summary declaration, and a declaration of generative AI use in manuscript preparation if applicable.
References References must be numbered consecutively in order of appearance in the text, cited with numbers in square brackets, list only the first six authors followed by 'et al' if more remain, and include the complete title, abbreviated journal name, year, volume, and inclusive page numbers.
Figures & Tables Figures must be submitted as separate files with captions provided separately, while the manuscript text is organized with Tables, Figures, and Legends to Illustrations after the references. Tables must be submitted as editable text and numbered consecutively, and figures must be cited in the text and numbered sequentially with a brief descriptive legend for each.
