Pharmacological Research is an IUPHAR-affiliated journal that publishes cutting-edge articles in biomedical sciences across molecular, biochemical, translational, and clinical pharmacology, including clinical trials. The journal covers a broad range of topics spanning cardiovascular research, neuroscience, oncology, immunology, renal pharmacology, pregnancy-related pharmacology, pharmacogenomics, natural products, rare diseases, and related pharmacological fields, with invited and unsolicited review articles welcome.

Original Articles

Cover Letter Cover Letter requirements are not specified.
Abstract Abstract must not exceed 250 words.
Manuscript Manuscript must be divided into clearly defined and numbered sections, with the abstract excluded from section numbering. Manuscript must include 1 to 7 English keywords, 3 to 5 highlights submitted as a separate editable file, a graphical abstract submitted as a separate file, and if generative AI was used in writing, a declaration section placed immediately before the references.
References References must be cited in the text using numbers in square brackets. References must be numbered in the order of appearance and may use any consistent style as long as author names, source title details, year, and volume or pagination information are included where applicable.
Figures & Tables Figures must be uploaded as separate files, while tables must be provided as editable text. All figures and tables must be cited in the text, numbered consecutively in order of appearance, and provided with captions.
