Original Full Paper/Communication

Cover Letter An accompanying letter is required. The accompanying letter must state that the manuscript has been read by all authors, that all authors meet authorship requirements, and that each author believes the manuscript represents honest work.
Abstract A structured abstract is required. Abstract must not exceed 250 words. Abstract must be structured. Abstract must use the headings Objectives, Methods, Results, and Conclusions.
Manuscript Text from introduction to conclusion must not exceed 4000 words. The anonymous main manuscript must include Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion sections, with Concluding Remarks optional. The title page must include a 60-word summary of what is new in the paper or the policy implications of the paper.
References References should be about 40. References must follow Vancouver style. References must be numbered consecutively in first-citation order and cited by Arabic numerals in parentheses, with all authors listed for six or fewer authors, the first six followed by et al for more than six, and journal titles abbreviated.
Figures & Tables Submissions are limited to 5 standard-size tables and/or figures. Tables and figures must be placed at the end of the text after the reference list, although figures may be submitted as a separate file if they cannot be placed there for technical reasons. Tables must use alphabetical footnotes and figures must be numbered consecutively in Arabic numerals.

Systematic reviews must include a well-defined question, concrete inclusion and exclusion criteria, a systematic search of the literature, and well-defined methods for synthesizing results from individual studies. The title page must include a 60-word summary of what is new in the paper or its policy implications, and key terms must not duplicate words in the title.
References Forty references are preferred, but additional references may be allowed if the review is based on a large number of included studies. References must follow Vancouver style. References must be numbered consecutively in order of first mention using Arabic numerals in parentheses, list all authors if there are six or fewer or the first six followed by "et al" if there are more than six, and use abbreviated journal titles.
Figures & Tables Five tables and figures are preferred, but additional tables or figures may be allowed depending on the circumstances. Tables and figures must be placed at the end of the text after the reference list, although figures may be submitted separately if they cannot be placed there for technical reasons. Longer-than-standard tables may be allowed.
